Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
Rate: £12.90 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary, Immediate Start

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join our school, which caters for pupils aged 5-11 with a range of additional needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Autism, and speech and language challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to individual students and small groups with a variety of SEN needs.
  • Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver personalized learning programs.
  • Support pupils with their emotional, social, and academic development.
  • Assist with personal care needs for students with PMLD, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly MLD, PMLD, and Autism, is highly desirable.
  • A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to learning support.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • A commitment to making a positive impact on children's lives.
