Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with a Primary Teacher based in the Farnborough Area. This role will require the applicant to work in a Key Stage 2 level alongside children with specialist education requirements. This will include assisting the young people with social and emotional mental health skills management and development. This role could also include working with Key Stage 3.

The school is a mixed MLD school which caters for 4- to 16-year-olds.

This will be a full-time permanent role.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a strong leader and team player who demonstrates high expectations of the student’s achievement and behaviour.
  • Have a proven track record of raising attainment.
  • Be confident and adaptable to different environments.
  • Have strong classroom management skills.
  • Be able to deliver lessons in a fun and engaging way that students can relate.
  • Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of child safeguarding and ability to respond to such concerns effectively and efficiently.

The role will include but is not constrained to the following duties:

  • Building relationships with student to build trust and assist in developing emotional management.
  • To plan and deliver curriculum whilst accessing student attainment.
  • To meet expectations of educational philosophy.
  • Utilise specialist advisors and teams.
  • To engage in continuous professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Equivalent
  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • SEND Experience
  • Leadership Experience.
  • Evidence on on-going CPD.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
