About the School:
Our partner school is a mixed MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) school serving children aged 4 to 16. The school is dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for students with diverse needs.
Role Overview:
As a Primary Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and effective lessons while supporting students' emotional and social development. Your role will include building strong relationships with students, implementing tailored educational plans, and working with specialist teams to meet students' unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver the curriculum for Key Stage 2, with potential to work with Key Stage 3
Build trusting relationships with students to support their emotional and social development
Plan and implement educational strategies to meet the individual needs of students
Collaborate with specialist advisors and teams to enhance student outcomes
Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices
Ideal Candidate:
Demonstrates strong leadership and teamwork skills, with high expectations for student achievement and behavior
Proven track record in raising student attainment
Confident and adaptable to various educational environments
Strong classroom management skills and ability to make lessons engaging
Knowledgeable in child safeguarding with a clear understanding of effective responses to concerns
Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience in SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) settings
Leadership experience
Evidence of ongoing professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
