Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a fluent welsh Primary School Teachers to work in a Welsh Medium Primary School providing PPA class cover and pupil intervention two days a week initially.
Children and young people across the country have experienced unprecedented disruption to their education as a result of coronavirus (COVID-19). The government has announced GBP1 billion of funding to support children and young people to catch up. This includes a one-off universal GBP650 million catch-up premium for the 2020 to 2021 academic year to ensure that schools have the support they need to help all pupils make up for lost teaching time. Schools’ allocations will be calculated on a per pupil basis, providing each mainstream school with a total of GBP80 for each pupil in years reception through to 11. The role will include covering various classes and various age groups in order to release class teachers to provide specific intervention. The successful candidate will also be expected to provide intervention to specific pupils. Guidance and support will be provided prior to providing the intervention.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
