Position: Physics Teacher (Secondary)
Location: Newcastle, UK
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Initially through Teaching Personnel, with the opportunity to transition to a direct school contract
Pay: Reflective of the National Teacher Pay Scales

About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring Physics Teacher to join an excellent school based in North Tyneside. Their aim is to ensure that all students attend well, experience great teaching, develop the character and skills needed to be successful in life, whilst creating a happy place to work and learn. This School is also very accessible via local transport links.

As a Physics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons to inspire students to excel in their understanding of physics. The role will involve planning, teaching, and assessing lessons, as well as supporting student's academic and personal development within the department. You will be joining a collaborative, forward-thinking team dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in education.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a recognized teaching qualification (QTS)
  • Have a strong knowledge of the physics curriculum, with a passion for science education
  • Demonstrate a commitment to raising standards and achieving the highest levels of student progress
  • Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities
  • Preferably have experience teaching at a grammar or academically selective school, although this is not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
