Job description

Job Title: Physics Teacher

Location: North West England, Cheshire, Poynton

Job Type: Contract, Full-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £162 - £251 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging physics lessons to students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics or related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Physics at the secondary level

Experience:

Previous experience teaching Physics at the secondary level (Must have QTS)

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of physics concepts
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with exam board requirements
  • Experience using technology in the classroom

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school setting, following the academic calendar. Full-time hours are expected, with occasional involvement in extracurricular activities and events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
