Subject Leader – Physics
Location: Milton Keynes (MK7)
Contract Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 + TLR £7,897
We are working with a successful secondary school in Milton Keynes to recruit an ambitious and inspirational Subject Leader for Physics. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the Physics department in a school that has a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success.
About the Role:
As Subject Leader for Physics, you will:
- Lead the strategic development of the Physics curriculum, ensuring exceptional outcomes for all students.
- Inspire and support a team of dedicated educators within the department.
- Promote a love of Physics and science through engaging teaching and learning strategies.
- Use data effectively to monitor student progress and implement improvement plans.
- Play a key role in whole-school development and sustained improvement.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A passion for Physics and education, with the ability to inspire both students and colleagues.
- Proven leadership experience or the ability to demonstrate significant contributions to departmental success.
- Strong team leadership skills and a collaborative approach.
