Subject Leader for Chemistry
Location: Milton Keynes (MK7)
Contract Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 + TLR £7,487
Start Date: January 2025 or April 2025

We are working with a well-established secondary school in Milton Keynes to recruit a passionate and ambitious Subject Leader for Chemistry. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a successful department and make a key contribution to the continued development of a thriving school.

About the Role:
As Subject Leader for Chemistry, you will:

  • Lead and inspire a team of teachers to deliver excellent outcomes for students.
  • Take responsibility for curriculum planning, teaching, and assessment within Chemistry.
  • Support and mentor colleagues to achieve high standards in teaching and learning.
  • Drive departmental improvements and contribute to whole-school initiatives.

This is a permanent, full-time role starting in January 2025 or April 2025. The salary is £31,650 - £49,084 + TLR £7,487.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
