Personal Care Teaching Assistant
Rate of Pay - Minimum of £89.38 Per Day
Hours - 8:30AM - 3:30PM
Area - Llanelli S15 & Surrouding Areas
We are currently seeking a Personal Care Teaching Assistant to join our increasingly growing team of passionate educators within the Llanelli & surrounding areas.

What will the role involve?
- Working alongside the classroom teacher, to help with their learning plans for the pupils in the class
- Provide 1:1 support
- Aspects of all types of personal care
- Aspects of Manual Handling
- On the job training through the school, helping you better understand the schools aims and culture
- Additional development opportunities through Teaching Personnel always available, including our Team Teach training which is invaluable to furthering your development
The ideal candidate:
- Ideally you will have previous experience working with pupils with learning difficulties or working with individuals with varied challenging behaviours and personal care requirements.
- Someone who can demonstrate the necessary nurturing qualities required to work closely with SEN children
- Be freidnly, enthusiatic, adaptable and reliable
- Teaching Assistant qualification is ideal but not essential
- Experience with epilepsy, cerebral palsy, gastro feeing and PEG would be an advantage but not essential
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:
- Driver with access to own vehicle (Essential)
- Hold Right to Work in the UK with proof of doucmentaion
- Be registered (or willing to register) with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) & Disclose & Baring Service (DBS)
- Provide 24 months worth of references, including any related references you may have worked with children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
