Job Title: Fully Qualified PE Teacher (Theory & Practical) – Secondary Schools

Salary: M1 – M6 (dependent on experience)

About the Role
Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher to join our team and work in secondary schools across Liverpool. This role is perfect for a qualified Physical Education specialist who can confidently deliver both practical and theoretical aspects of the PE curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging practical PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Teach theory-based lessons, including anatomy, fitness, and sports science.
- Assess, track, and support student progress in both practical and academic PE.
- Encourage a positive and inclusive approach to sport and physical activity.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Contribute to extra-curricular activities, including sports teams and clubs.
Requirements
- QTS or PGCE in Physical Education.
- Experience teaching both theory and practical PE in secondary schools.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for PE.
- A passion for inspiring young people to develop a love for sport and fitness.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Enhanced DBS check and on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
