Job description

About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and fully qualified P.E. Teacher to join our team and work in Liverpool schools until the end of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to inspire and engage students in physical education, promoting health, fitness, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic P.E. lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Encourage students to develop their physical skills, confidence, and teamwork
  • Plan and assess lessons effectively to ensure pupil progress
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school sports events

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Physical Education
  • Experience teaching P.E. at secondary school level
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (essential)
  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for student development
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
