Pastoral Mentor -
Interested in working with mental health in schools?
Do you have experience working with SEMH and mental health?
Pay: GBP 66-80 a day
Location: East Bristol
The role:
- Full-time starting in September 2021
- Pastoral and mental health support for KS3/4 students
- Experience in schools or working with KS3/4 children, SEN and SEMH (not necessarily in a classroom) is desirable
- Supporting the wellbeing of KS3/4 students - help them settle back into a school routine
- Encourage the regular attendance of students and the benefits to their education
- Support students with challenging behaviour and facilitate good working relationships amongst students
Pastoral and mental health mentors must have the right to work within the UK and the ability to provide two references from their most recent employers. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid child workforce Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
