About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the academy, ensuring that all operational aspects function smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing administration management, ensuring that office processes and procedures run efficiently.

Managing health and safety, IT services, and estate operations, ensuring compliance with policies and best practices.
-
Providing secretarial support to the Principal, coordinating schedules and key administrative tasks.
-
Leading the administration team and lunchtime staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
-
Being the first point of contact for HR matters, including attendance, payroll, and performance management.
-
Assisting in school events and projects, from coordinating recruitment processes to organising charity events and school fairs.

Strong communication skills, able to engage with external agencies, parents, staff, and students.

A proactive mindset, with the ability to remain calm and adaptable in a busy school environment.

Excellent IT and administrative skills, with experience in school management systems (Bromcom experience desirable, but training available).

Experience in managing teams, with the ability to lead, motivate, and support staff.

A problem-solving approach, able to think ahead and find solutions in a dynamic setting.
