About the Nursery
Our nursery is highly respected for providing exceptional early years care and education to children aged 6 months to 4 years. We are proud to offer a safe, stimulating, and fun environment where every child is given the opportunity to flourish and enjoy the best possible start in life.
Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of our team, you will work alongside experienced colleagues to create an enriching and positive environment for the children. Your main duties will include:
- Activity Planning: Designing and leading engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Progress Monitoring: Observing children’s development, documenting key achievements and milestones.
- Parent Communication: Building positive relationships with parents and carers, ensuring clear and supportive communication.
- Safety and Hygiene: Maintaining a safe, clean, and hygienic environment at all times.
- Emotional Support: Encouraging children’s emotional well-being, offering comfort and support where needed.
- Team Collaboration: Working collaboratively with colleagues to foster a creative and stimulating learning atmosphere.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting (preferred).
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and its practical implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and development.
Working Hours
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. We are committed to fostering a healthy work-life balance in a supportive and friendly working environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
