Room Leader Position Available – Wavertree (L15)
Are you a passionate and experienced childcare professional looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a Room Leader to join the team at a reputable nursery in Wavertree (L15)
Role: Room Leader
Location: Wavertree
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of nursery practitioners in your designated room.
- Ensure the highest standards of care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
- Work closely with parents, carers, and the nursery management team.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
- Monitor and assess children’s progress in line with the EYFS framework.
Requirements:
- Level 3 or above in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
- Proven experience working in a nursery setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Paediatric First Aid certification (preferred but not essential).
- A positive, enthusiastic, and caring approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
