Salary: £83.85 per day
Role Overview:
As a Nursery Nurse, you will work closely with the school’s Early Years team to support the learning, development, and care of children in the nursery setting. You will help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can explore, grow, and thrive. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to children in the nursery setting.
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities that support children's development across all areas (physical, social, emotional, and cognitive).
- Observe and track children’s progress and development and provide feedback to parents and staff.
- Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development in a positive and nurturing manner.
- Promote a safe and inclusive environment, always ensuring children’s well-being.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members and contribute to the overall success of the school.
- Always follow health and safety regulations and policies.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- A good understanding of early childhood development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, patient, and empathetic approach with children.
- Enhanced DBS check (we can help facilitate this if necessary).
Desirable Skills:
- First Aid certification.
- Previous experience working with young children, ideally in an educational setting.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
