Newly Qualified Maths Teacher (PGCE Graduate) – Exciting Teaching Opportunity
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £166.32 per day
Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Permanent / Fixed-Term (Specify as needed)
Start Date: Immediately following completion of studies
Are you a passionate and motivated Mathematics PGCE graduate looking for your first teaching role? Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 (KS5 if applicable).
- Plan, prepare, and assess students' work to ensure strong academic progress.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students in developing their mathematical confidence and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create innovative teaching strategies.
- Participate in extra-curricular activities and school initiatives.
Requirements:
- PGCE in Mathematics (or equivalent) with QTS/QTLS.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching maths.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to inspiring and engaging students of all abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
