Newly Qualified Maths Teacher (PGCE Graduate) – Exciting Teaching Opportunity

Location: Cardiff
Salary: £166.32 per day
Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Permanent / Fixed-Term (Specify as needed)
Start Date: Immediately following completion of studies

Are you a passionate and motivated Mathematics PGCE graduate looking for your first teaching role? Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher (ECT/NQT) to join supportive and forward-thinking schools. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 (KS5 if applicable).
  • Plan, prepare, and assess students' work to ensure strong academic progress.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students in developing their mathematical confidence and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create innovative teaching strategies.
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities and school initiatives.

Requirements:

  • PGCE in Mathematics (or equivalent) with QTS/QTLS.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching maths.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to inspiring and engaging students of all abilities.
