HAVE YOU HAD EXPERIENCE TEACHING MFL IN A UK SECONDARY SCHOOL?

ARE YOU COMPETENT AND CONFIDENT DELIVERING 2 OR MORE LANGUAGES FLUENTLY TO A RANGE OF LEARNERS?

HAVE YOU GOT UK QTS OR AN EQUIVALENT TEACHING QUALIFICATION?

 

If you answered yes to the above, then we have the perfect opportunity for you! Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate MFL teacher to work on a full time basis in one of our schools near Solihull. 

The school have been working in close partnership with us at Teaching Personnel for a number of years and we know how supportive the staff are at the school!

 

Pay Scale: £150-220 (per day, dependent upon experience. We will "pay to scale" for fully qualified teachers in a full time role)

Hours: Full Time

Location: B91

Start Date: Jan 2025

 

Ideal Person Specification:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

- Bachelors degree in a modern foreign language

- Experience delivering MFL lessons in a UK secondary school

- Previous experience planning and marking (desired but not essential)

- Confident with behaviour management and a strong classroom presence

 

Job Roles/Responsbilities:

- Plan and deliver MFL lessons catering to a range of abilities and individual needs within each class

- Regularly and promptly assess pupil's learning and progression and provide them with relevant feedback to encourage them

- Ensure you are meeting the requirements of the MFL national curriculum for all year groups

- Collaborate with colleagues within the department

- Encourage Years 7 and 8 to take MFL for GCSEs and A-Levels and be an advocate for the subject

- Always adhere to schools policies and procedures and ensure safeguarding principles are at the centre of your practice

- Instill a love of languages in all pupils across the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
