About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Cwmbran, Torfaen. This full-time role is perfect for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT) or Fully Qualified Teachers (FQT) who are committed to delivering high-quality education to secondary school students aged 11-16. Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons aligned with the secondary school curriculum
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
- Maintain effective classroom management and create a positive learning environment
- Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents to support student success
- Encourage student participation, fostering enthusiasm and interest in the subject of Mathematics
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Right to work in the UK
- Must hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child Only)
- Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
- At least two professional references covering the past 24 months
