Salary - £28,060 - £39,300 per annum
Start date ASAP or January start

Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity to work with an independent school based in Bournemouth. The school has pupils aged 14-19 for small group and individualised learning, focusing on social and emotional development. Concentrating on building strong and trusting relationships between staff and pupils forming the foundation for success.

The school are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Maths Teacher to join there dedicated team.

The Job

• Undertake subject teaching responsibility and ensure all pupils develop their knowledge and skills and make good progress in their learning
• Work with the Head Teacher and Leadership team to deliver a sequenced curriculum which builds knowledge and skills towards agreed end points
• Effectively monitor the progress of each pupil, checking their understanding systematically and effectively, putting in place clearly directed and timely intervention

The Person

• Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS/PGCE) preferred but consideration will also be given to education professionals with other teaching qualifications
• A passion for working with pupils with SEN and a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties
• The ability to deliver lessons that are informative, interesting and inspiring
• A dedication to positive behaviour management
• Committed to continual professional development
