Exciting Opportunity for Head of Maths – Wakefield

Are you a passionate and experienced Maths leader looking for a new challenge?

Teaching Personnel's PWR team are delighted to be working with an “Outstanding” school in Wakefield to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Head of Maths to join their dedicated team.

Salary: M1 – UPS3 + TLR2b + Welcome Bonus

About the Role:

  • You will lead and develop the Maths department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across all year groups.
  • You will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and monitoring of the Maths curriculum.
  • You will lead and support a team of Maths teachers, providing professional development and guidance.
  • You will play a key role in raising student attainment in Maths across the school.
  • You will work closely with colleagues across the school to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to Maths teaching.

About You:

  • You will be a qualified Maths teacher with QTS.
  • You will have experience of successful leadership within a Maths department.
  • You will have a proven track record of raising student achievement in Maths.
  • You will possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • You will be passionate about improving outcomes for all students.
