At Teaching Personnel we are currently searching for a qualified Maths teacher for long-term sickness to start work ASAP to cover an initial period of 3 months with scope to stay on longer or move into a more long-term position with the school. The school is based in the Treorchy Area and the successful candidate will be covering Maths classes across KS3 & KS4.

Role Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) whether that be an FQT looking for a new challenge or an NQT wanting to broaden their experience
  • Fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Valid registration with the EWC (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Ability to provide two school-based references

This fantastic position to teach Mathematics to the next generation is ideal for an NQT looking to get some experience under their belt. The successful candidate can expect to pre-plan lessons, prepare for their classes, and deliver top-tier education to KS3 & 4 students in the Treorchy area. The school has highlighted that the successful candidate will be working as part of a team in the Maths department.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
