Maths Supply Teacher – Box Hill, Surrey

Location: Box Hill, Surrey
Salary: £130 - £150 per day
Contract Type: Daily Supply


About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and reliable Maths Supply Teacher to support secondary schools in the Box Hill area. This is an exciting opportunity to teach mathematics across a range of schools, providing flexible teaching solutions while maintaining high academic standards for students.

As a Maths Supply Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring students continue to progress in their learning during the absence of their regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned Maths lessons to secondary school students.
  • Maintain effective classroom management while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Adapt quickly to different schools and teaching settings.
  • Support students' understanding of mathematical concepts and encourage their academic progress.
  • Follow school policies and ensure safeguarding procedures are adhered to.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching Maths at the secondary level is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Ability to adapt easily to various school environments.
  • A passion for Maths and helping students succeed in the subject.
