Job Title: Maths Teacher

Location: Stockton

Start Date: April 2024

Salary: £31,650- £49,084

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Maths Teacher for a secondary school in Stockton. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Maths teacher to make a real impact supporting and developing students’ learning.

About the Role:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • A strong background in Maths, ideally with a degree in Mathematics or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to student progress and development.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Collaborate with the Maths department to promote high standards of achievement and foster a positive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Provide at least two professional employment references.

  • A relevant degree in Maths or a related field.
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A passion for Mathematics, with the ability to inspire students.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student achievement.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to school life.

This position is open to both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers (ECTs) who are eager to grow in a supportive environment.
