Maths Teacher – Inspire a Love of Mathematics

Are you a skilled and enthusiastic Maths Teacher ready to make a meaningful impact? We are looking for a dedicated professional to join a welcoming secondary school in Southampton, delivering high-quality mathematics education to students across KS3 and KS4.

The Role:

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners.
  • Foster a passion for mathematics, encouraging students to develop problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing tailored support to help every learner achieve their potential.
  • Contribute to the development of the maths curriculum and wider school initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with a supportive and dynamic team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Expertise in mathematics and a commitment to inspiring students in the subject.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a positive, proactive approach to teaching.
  • A passion for education and a desire to make a lasting difference in students’ lives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
