Maths Teacher – Southampton
Location: Southampton
Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm
Start Date: January 2024 (with the option to start earlier)

The Role
As a Maths Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and teaching engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 Maths.
- Encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students.
- Monitoring student progress and adapting lesson plans to ensure all students are making progress.
- Preparing students for GCSE Maths, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to succeed.
- Collaborating with the maths department to share teaching resources and strategies.

Requirements
- QTS and a proven track record in teaching Maths at KS3 & KS4.
- Strong knowledge of the mathematics curriculum.
- A passion for teaching and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
