Maths Teacher
Job description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive team at a mainstream secondary school in Salisbury. The position is full-time and will commence in September 2025.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Maths lessons to students at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). They will work to inspire and engage students with a love for the subject, supporting them to achieve their full potential. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching, committed to students' progress, and able to create an inclusive learning environment that fosters success.
Key Responsibilities:

Planning, preparing, and delivering Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.

Assessing and monitoring student progress to ensure continued academic development.

Creating a positive and engaging learning environment that motivates students.

Collaborating with colleagues to support student success and school-wide initiatives.

Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities or initiatives.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Strong subject knowledge in Maths with the ability to teach at both KS3 and KS4 levels.

A passion for teaching and commitment to student development.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work well as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
