Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Develop students’ problem-solving, analytical, and reasoning skills through a variety of teaching methods and resources.
- Prepare students for GCSE Maths examinations, ensuring they have a solid understanding of key concepts and exam techniques.
- Use effective classroom management strategies to create a positive, focused learning environment.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students improve and achieve their potential.
- Work collaboratively with the Maths department and contribute to curriculum planning and development.
- Attend staff meetings, parent evenings, and professional development sessions as required.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Maths.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary school level, ideally across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion for teaching Maths and the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
- An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
