About the Role:
Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to help shape the future of a thriving secondary school known for its commitment to academic excellence, staff well-being, and student success. You will play a key role in delivering a stimulating and engaging Maths curriculum, ensuring students not only achieve but truly understand and appreciate the world of mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and inspire students across Key Stage 3 and 4 (with the opportunity to teach A-Level if desired)
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to take risks and develop confidence in their abilities
- Collaborate with a strong, supportive team to continuously enhance the Maths curriculum and teaching practices
- Set high expectations for student achievement and behaviour, ensuring all students are challenged to reach their full potential
- Provide regular feedback and support to help students grow academically and personally
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and school events
Skills and Qualifications:
- A strong passion for teaching and a love for mathematics
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs welcome to apply!)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities, ensuring each student is supported and challenged
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team

We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to students in a thriving and supportive secondary school in XXX. This school is committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment and has a track record for providing tailored training to their support staff.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored support to help them succeed academically and personally. You’ll help students overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their goals. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, empathetic, and eager to make a meaningful difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to students with varying needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum and engage fully in class.
- Assist students with specific learning challenges, offering guidance and practical support to overcome barriers to learning.
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment, promoting student well-being and confidence.
- Collaborate with teachers to track student progress and implement tailored support strategies.
- Encourage independent learning and help students develop essential academic and personal skills.
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for each student.
Skills & Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their success.
- Experience working with students with additional needs is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to supporting students.
- GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
