Secondary School Mathematics Teacher – Oxford

Location: Oxford, UK
Position: Full-Time Mathematics Teacher
Start Date: April 2025
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic educator to inspire the next generation of mathematicians and make a real impact on our students' academic journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality mathematics lessons to secondary school students, ensuring that all learners are challenged and supported.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated to learn and achieve their full potential.
  • Prepare and assess student work, providing constructive feedback to encourage continuous progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the mathematics curriculum and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities, including mathematics clubs, competitions, and other school events.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  • Passionate about mathematics with a proven ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • A strong commitment to professional development and a desire to continue growing as an educator.
  • Experience teaching at secondary school level is desirable, but newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are welcome to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
