Maths Teacher – Academy in Northampton

The PWR team at Teaching Personnel are working with an Ofsted-graded ‘Good’ academy in Northampton to recruit a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher for a permanent role starting in September 2025 (or Easter for the right candidate). Key Details:

• Location: Northampton
• Start Date: September 2025 (or Easter for the right candidate)
• Salary: MPS/UPS (Potential TLR for the right candidate)

The Role:

• Teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach A-Level for experienced candidates
• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Supporting students in their exam preparation and academic progress through structured interventions and targeted support
• Working collaboratively with the Maths department to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices
• Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, such as Maths clubs and competitions

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Maths at secondary level, ideally with GCSE and/or A-Level experience
• Be committed to inspiring students to develop confidence and enthusiasm for Mathematics
• Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Be open to professional development opportunities and career progression within the Multi-Academy Trust
