Maths Teacher – Academy in Northampton
The PWR team at Teaching Personnel are working with an Ofsted-graded ‘Good’ academy in Northampton to recruit a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher for a permanent role starting in September 2025 (or Easter for the right candidate). Key Details:
- Location: Northampton
- Start Date: September 2025 (or Easter for the right candidate)
- Salary: MPS/UPS (Potential TLR for the right candidate)
The Role:
- Teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach A-Level for experienced candidates
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Supporting students in their exam preparation and academic progress through structured interventions and targeted support
- Working collaboratively with the Maths department to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices
- Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, such as Maths clubs and competitions
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Maths at secondary level, ideally with GCSE and/or A-Level experience
- Be committed to inspiring students to develop confidence and enthusiasm for Mathematics
- Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Be open to professional development opportunities and career progression within the Multi-Academy Trust

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
