Start Date: September 2025

Location: Tidworth, Wiltshire 

A mainstream secondary school in Tidworth is seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2025. The position is open to both full-time and part-time applicants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students, fostering a love for the subject.

  • Utilise a variety of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the mathematics curriculum and contribute to departmental initiatives.

  • Engage with parents and carers to discuss student progress and address any concerns.

  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the student experience.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field.

  • Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards it.

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methods.

  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.

  • Show a commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.

  • Uphold the safeguarding and welfare of all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
