Location: Tidworth, Wiltshire
A mainstream secondary school in Tidworth is seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2025. The position is open to both full-time and part-time applicants.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students, fostering a love for the subject.

Utilise a variety of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the mathematics curriculum and contribute to departmental initiatives.
-
Engage with parents and carers to discuss student progress and address any concerns.

Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the student experience.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-
Hold a relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field.
-
Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards it.
-
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methods.

Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.

Show a commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.

Uphold the safeguarding and welfare of all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
