Maths Teacher
Location: Newport
Salary: £166.32 - £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Duration: ASAP until the end of the school year
Hours: 8.30am – 3pm
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Maths Teacher on behalf of a reputable secondary school in Brecon. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established school community and make a positive impact on the students' learning experience. This is a small community with a great reputation.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and comprehensive maths lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Preparing and planning high-quality and differentiated lesson plans that cater to the needs of all students.
- Assessing student performance and providing timely feedback to help them achieve their learning objectives.
- Establishing a nurturing and supportive learning environment conducive to students' growth and development.
- Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the departmental improvement and development.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS cleared & on the update service. (Or willing to apply)
- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
- Be able to provide 2 of your most recent references.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Registered to Education Workforce Council EWC. (Or willing to apply)
- Have up to date safeguarding training or willing to take it. (Provided for free by Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
