Maths Teacher

Maths Tutor – £25–30 per hour

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a skilled and enthusiastic Maths tutor to provide high-quality support to students at various stages of their education, from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level.

This role is ideal for tutors with a strong foundation in mathematical concepts and the ability to adapt their teaching style to suit individual learners. Sessions may take place in person or online and may be delivered one-to-one or in small groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored Maths tuition aligned with the national curriculum

• Support students in building core skills, subject confidence, and exam readiness

• Track student progress and adapt lesson plans accordingly

• Create a positive, engaging learning environment

Requirements:

• Strong subject knowledge across a range of Maths topics

• Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

Rate of pay: £25–30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
