Maths Teacher – Manchester
A secondary school in Manchester is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Maths Teacher to join their mathematics department. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and challenge students, helping them develop essential problem-solving skills and numerical confidence.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging and interactive lessons, ensuring students build a solid foundation in mathematics. You will be expected to differentiate lessons to cater to all abilities, helping students excel in their studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach maths to KS3 and KS4 students, covering algebra, geometry, statistics, and more.
- Use innovative teaching strategies to engage students and foster a love for maths.
- Provide additional intervention for students requiring extra support.
- Prepare pupils for their GCSE examinations, ensuring high attainment levels.
- Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving through real-world applications.
- Work closely with the department to track student progress and adapt teaching methods.
Requirements:
- QTS or equivalent qualification in Mathematics.
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to break down complex concepts effectively.
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 students, with a track record of success.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality education and raising achievement levels.
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
