We are searching for a fantastic Teacher of Maths for a thriving and inclusive secondary school in Luton who are dedicated to fostering academic excellence and personal growth in all students. We are looking for a fully qualified Teacher of Maths to join our partner school located in Luton. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and challenge students while delivering high-quality maths education.
Role Overview:
As a Teacher of Maths, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and challenging lessons to students across a range of abilities. You will be responsible for planning and delivering dynamic lessons that foster a love of mathematics, encourage independent thinking, and help students reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Develop and implement appropriate resources to support learning at all levels
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and self-confidence
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching strategies
• Engage with parents and carers, keeping them informed about student progress and achievements
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities
Ideal Candidate:
• A fully qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• A degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Proven experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4 (A-Level teaching experience is a plus)
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Passionate about maths and committed to inspiring students
• Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• A proactive and team-oriented approach to teaching
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
• A valid DBS check and recent safeguarding training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
