The Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team from ASAP or from January 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics instruction to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them achieve their full potential and fostering a love for the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging maths lessons that cater to a diverse student body.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to inspire and motivate students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the maths curriculum.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, training, and school events.
  • Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • ECT applications welcomed
  • Proven experience teaching mathematics at secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Maths.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
