Job description

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths teacher to join a dynamic team at one of our partner Secondary Schools in Hartlepool. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced educators who are looking to make a positive impact on young minds. The role is full-time starting after the Easter holidays until Christmas initally (maternity cover)

If you are a qualified Maths Teacher – and have experience in teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 – we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive Maths lessons to students of various ages and abilities
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students.
  • Utilise a range of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles
  • Monitor and manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Have a passion for supporting children in the learning sector

Requirements:

  • A degree in a Maths related subject (PGCE or QTS preferred).
  • Strong subject knowledge in the Maths curriculum.
  • For ECTs: a willingness to learn and grow, with support and mentorship provided

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
