As a Maths teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering Engaging Lessons: Create and implement innovative lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, making Maths accessible and enjoyable.
  • Fostering a Positive Learning Environment: Encourage a culture of curiosity and enthusiasm for Maths, helping students build confidence in their abilities.
  • Monitoring Student Progress: Regularly assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their academic goals.
  • Collaborating with Colleagues: Work closely with other staff members to develop and share best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of the Maths department and the wider school community.

 

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Optimistic and Enthusiastic: A positive attitude and a passion for teaching Maths are essential. We are looking for someone who can inspire students and make learning an enjoyable experience.
  • Committed and Reliable: A strong commitment to student success and a dedication to professional growth and development.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): QTS is essential for this role. The candidate must have a relevant teaching qualification and experience teaching Maths at the secondary school level.
  • Effective Communicator: Excellent communication skills, both in the classroom and with colleagues, students, and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
