Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths teacher looking to inspire young minds and make a significant impact in education? A well-established secondary school in Fareham is seeking a full-time maths teacher to join their talented teaching team starting in October.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed individual who has a love for mathematics and a desire to deliver high-quality education to students.

 

As a Maths Teacher at this school, you will play a crucial role in fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of mathematics among the students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons that cover a wide range of mathematical topics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics, in line with the national curriculum.

Your innovative teaching methods and ability to make complex mathematical concepts accessible and exciting will help students develop strong problem-solving skills and a confident approach to tackling challenging topics.

The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a strong academic background in mathematics. You should have a deep understanding of your subject, combined with excellent communication skills, to effectively engage and motivate students across various ability levels.

 

Your approach will be both supportive and challenging, encouraging students to achieve their full potential and build their confidence in using mathematics in everyday situations. Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment will be key, ensuring that every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to succeed.

In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will be actively involved in the wider life of the school community. This includes collaborating with colleagues to share best practices, participating in departmental meetings, and contributing to the ongoing development of the maths curriculum.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
