Are you a passionate and skilled Mathematics teacher looking for a new opportunity in an independent secondary school? A well-established school in Fareham is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Maths teacher to join their team full-time from April.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Mathematics lessons up to GCSE level.
• Plan, assess, and adapt teaching to support all learners in achieving their full potential.
• Maintain an excellent understanding of national curriculum and examination requirements.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Contribute to the wider school community through leadership and collaborative teamwork.

Essential Skills & Attributes:

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide students and colleagues.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven teamwork and collaborative skills to work effectively within a department.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self-management and organisational skills to plan and deliver effective lessons.
• Excellent professional knowledge and subject expertise in Mathematics.
• A solid understanding of national curriculum and exam board requirements.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Mathematics to GCSE level.
• Experience of atleast 6 months teaching within the UK.
• A commitment to fostering a high-achieving and supportive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
