Are you a passionate and skilled Mathematics teacher looking for a new opportunity in an independent secondary school? A well-established school in Fareham is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Maths teacher to join their team full-time from April.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Mathematics lessons up to GCSE level.
- Plan, assess, and adapt teaching to support all learners in achieving their full potential.
- Maintain an excellent understanding of national curriculum and examination requirements.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Contribute to the wider school community through leadership and collaborative teamwork.
Essential Skills & Attributes:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide students and colleagues.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven teamwork and collaborative skills to work effectively within a department.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-management and organisational skills to plan and deliver effective lessons.
- Excellent professional knowledge and subject expertise in Mathematics.
- A solid understanding of national curriculum and exam board requirements.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Mathematics to GCSE level.
- Experience of atleast 6 months teaching within the UK.
- A commitment to fostering a high-achieving and supportive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
