About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a supportive school community in Honiton. This role is ideal for a passionate educator with a strong mathematical background, ready to make a positive impact on students’ academic progress. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, high-quality Maths lessons to secondary school students, fostering a love for learning and helping students build their confidence in mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Use diverse teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles.
- Assess, track, and report on students’ progress and achievement.
- Create a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages active learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, contributing to departmental goals and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong understanding of the Maths curriculum.
- Proven experience in teaching Maths at secondary level.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
- Enthusiasm, dedication, and a passion for teaching Maths.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
