Location: Exeter
Position: Maths Teacher (KS3 & KS4, with potential for KS5)
⏰ Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (with flexible working options)
Salary: Competitive daily rates, dependent on experience (£120–£180/day).


What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) such as PGCE, B.Ed., or similar.
  • Experience: A strong track record of delivering Maths lessons at KS3 and KS4. Experience teaching KS5 is desirable but not essential.
  • Subject Knowledge: A deep understanding of the Maths curriculum, with the ability to break down complex concepts.
  • Passion & Commitment: A genuine enthusiasm for Maths and a dedication to inspiring and engaging learners.
  • Skills: Effective classroom management, creative lesson planning, and a focus on individual student progression.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated Maths lessons tailored to various ability levels.
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Supporting students’ individual needs to help them achieve academic success.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
