Job Title: Full-Time Maths Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
Location: Secondary School, DE24
Start Date: 22nd April 2025
Contract: Full-Time, until the end of the academic year
Pay: Competitive, to scale

Our school is dedicated to fostering an environment where both students and staff thrive, and we are looking for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team.
The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled full-time Maths Teacher to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will have responsibility for planning, delivering, and assessing Maths lessons. The role will also involve marking student work and providing feedback to support their learning and progress.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons for KS3 and KS4 students
- Mark student work, provide feedback, and track progress
- Support and encourage student development and achievement
- Collaborate with the department team to ensure high standards of teaching
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, respectful learning environment
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage and inspire students
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A positive attitude, with a commitment to student success
- A child-only DBS on the update service
Desirable:
- Experience with exam preparation and teaching GCSE Maths
- Ability to contribute to the wider school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
