Position: Maths Teacher
Location: Deal, Kent
Salary: To Scale
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Deal. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or a newly qualified professional to inspire and motivate students, helping them reach their full potential in Mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, with potential KS5 teaching.
  • Plan and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Support and guide students of varying abilities to achieve their learning goals.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school-wide activities.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, providing additional support where necessary.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3, KS4) – KS5 experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Mathematics.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
