Maths Teacher
Job description
Teaching Personnel are seeking a qualified maths teacher to work at one of our brilliant partner schools in Coventry. The mainstream secondary school based in CV3 require a passionate and reliable maths teacher to work on a full time basis starting after Easter.
Hours: Full Time
Location: Coventry, CV3
Pay: To scale for FQT
The ideal candidate will:
- hold a UK QTS
- have recent, relevant experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school
- have a bachelors degree in Maths or similar related subject
- be able to commit to a full time position (flexible hours will be catered for, for the right candidate)
- be confident delivering maths lessons to a range of age groups and abilities
- have strong behaviour management skills and classroom presence
- have some experience supporting children with special educational needs
You will be responsible for:
- planning engaging maths lessons that cater to individual needs within each class
- delivering informative maths lessons, following the national curriculum and ensuring children maintain focus and engagement throughout
- marking pupil progress through various forms of assessment
- providing relevant and informative, feedback in a timely and constructive manner
- collaborating with colleagues within the maths department
- maintaining a positive and committed stance to safeguarding and upholding these principles at all times

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
