About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a well-regarded school in Cannock. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled teacher to inspire and challenge students, helping them develop a solid foundation in mathematics and achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual learning needs
  • Use creative teaching strategies to make maths accessible and enjoyable for all students
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and a love for learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the maths curriculum and ensure consistency in teaching standards

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification in Mathematics
  • Previous experience teaching maths at the secondary level
  • Strong knowledge of the maths curriculum and a commitment to high-quality teaching
  • Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for helping students achieve their best
  • A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
