Maths Teacher – Bournemouth

Are you a passionate and committed Maths Teacher looking for a permanent role from the next academic year? Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a well-respected secondary school in Bournemouth, and we are currently seeking a full-time Maths Teacher to join the team on a permanent basis from September 2025.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a long-term role in a school that promotes both academic excellence and personal development. As a Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential to teach KS5 depending on experience).

  • Inspire confidence and problem-solving skills through engaging and well-structured lessons.

  • Differentiate your teaching to support and challenge students of all abilities.

  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging respect and resilience.

  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback in line with school policies.

  • Participate in departmental and whole-school initiatives aimed at enhancing teaching and learning.

What We're Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification).

  • A specialism in Mathematics, with strong subject knowledge up to GCSE (A-level experience is an advantage).

  • A passion for Maths and a desire to make it accessible, engaging, and enjoyable.

  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive student relationships.

  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
