About the Role:

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to help shape the future of a thriving secondary school known for its commitment to academic excellence, staff well-being, and student success. You will play a key role in delivering a stimulating and engaging Maths curriculum, ensuring students not only achieve but truly understand and appreciate the world of mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and inspire students across Key Stage 3 and 4 (with the opportunity to teach A-Level if desired)
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to take risks and develop confidence in their abilities
  • Collaborate with a strong, supportive team to continuously enhance the Maths curriculum and teaching practices
  • Set high expectations for student achievement and behaviour, ensuring all students are challenged to reach their full potential
  • Provide regular feedback and support to help students grow academically and personally
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and school events

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong passion for teaching and a love for mathematics
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs welcome to apply!)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities, ensuring each student is supported and challenged
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
