Job description

Full-Time Maths Teacher - Secondary School in Blandford

A well-established and respected secondary school in Blandford is seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic environment, where you can contribute to the development and success of students at key stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging, and challenging Maths lessons across a range of abilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student progress and achievement.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lesson materials in line with the school’s curriculum.
  • Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and support individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices and student outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A strong passion for teaching Maths and a commitment to student success.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and engage with students, staff, and parents.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • A positive, proactive attitude towards professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
