Maths Teacher – Permanent Role in Birmingham (B15)
A high-achieving secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a committed and passionate Maths Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to deliver high-quality mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and confidence in numeracy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Use real-world applications to help students understand mathematical concepts and their importance
- Assess and track student progress, providing targeted support to ensure all pupils achieve their potential
- Maintain high expectations for student behaviour, engagement, and academic progress
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources and strategies
- Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as maths clubs, competitions, and enrichment sessions
- Engage with parents and carers to provide updates on student progress and attainment
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4 (experience with A-Level Maths is desirable but not essential)
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for making Maths engaging and accessible
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
- A commitment to continuous professional development and school improvement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
